Christine and I first met in High School as freshmen in 1997-98 timeframe. Our friendship developed over time and it got to a point where I wanted it to be more, but I was too shy to say anything. We eventually went our separate ways in High School, but kept in touch during our adult years through social media. Everything for us came full circle in 2020 when we really started talking again and hanging out with each other’s family. I told myself I wasn’t going to let her go again and I proposed to her in July of 2022 after receiving the blessings from her daughters, my two children, and her mom. We plan on getting married in July of 2024 with our kids standing by our side. She is my happily ever after.
