In 2001, our family grew by 2 with the addition of brothers Michael age 12 and Robin age 9. They were both born in Philadelphia. I am here attending a conference and when I saw the Philadelphia Hope Fence I had to share our story on the power of adoption. Often folks have said over the years, those boys are so lucky you adopted them. I disagree – I was the lucky one. I continue to be blessed as my sons are now grown, with their own families. We do not see each other as much as we would like and I hope they know how much I love them and how proud I am of both of them!
